About this deal

As happens with most computer hardware, Corsair has recently created a new revision with an aim at further improving the H60. Additionally, the AMD instructions refer to the use of four thumbscrews, when only two can be used (Intel uses four). Alongside that release Corsair really launched and upgraded several products from their Hydro series of Liquid System CPU cooler.

All right, moving onto overclocked performance, let’s see if the little Hydro H60 can hang on with the big boys. With tool-free easy installation and CORSAIR engineered cooling, the H60 is everything you need to keep your CPU running fast, cool and quiet.Closed-loop liquid cooling units are a great way to get exceptional cooling without the hassle and risk of traditional full-system liquid cooling. So without further ado, let's have a peek at the all updated Corsair H60 and then head onwards into the review where we'll put it to the test with a Core i7 3770K processor. Your vacuum cleaner will lose suction power and stop picking up dirt when the bag is full, making this replacement essential.

Then there’s the fact that the illustrations shows the use of eight washers to install the radiator and fan, when only four washers are included with the H60 and listed in the parts inventory. We’ve installed a lot of liquid coolers, many of them several times as we’ve rotated them through for testing, and the H60 fell somewhere in the middle in terms of time required for installation, at 25 minutes.

I knew there was a problem when the CPU fan (the one cooling the radiator) started spinning at full speed and found the CPU was cooking at 85°C. Even though it is spinning at a higher RPM and has a higher static pressure, it is still quieter than the original fan. The actual situation may vary slightly due to different versions of test models and specific test environments. It took me a lot longer to fit the fan and radiator than I had anticipated and this was exacerbated by the difficulty of getting the bolts into the thread on the radiator- I assume because of enamel on the threads. The metal actually bends out of shape while affixing it, which makes us wonder what the long-term integrity of it will be, and also begs the question of whether it could be reused for a different AMD socket in the future (not that anyone would move from AM4 to an older socket, of course).

You can see that the Hydro H60 nearly matches the bigger MasterLiquid 240, yet comes in much quieter. com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-%7C-Parts/PC-Components/Cooling/LGA1700-Retrofit-Kit/p/CW-8960091) .Whilst the stud threads were the same, they were a bit longer on the Coolit which meant the H60 couldn't be screwed down far enough to reach the CPU. With the H60, you have the maximum transmission power and features of your fixed-mount VHF radio, with the convenience and portability of a handheld. Another great aesthetic feature is the braided tubes that look much better than the rubber tubing that is exposed on some older Corsair AIOs, this braiding also offers a level of protection to kinks in the tubing. Last week we checked out the all new H100i All-in One Liquid Cooler from Corsair which was released.
