While there is nothing wrong with any other type of toothbrush, the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush is very different (in a positive way). It is powered by a special “e1 microprocessor” that delivers an astounding 40,000 vibrations a minute! WOW! All this in an EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush to keep your teeth and gums clean and healthy over time. OK, just opening the box, which is absolutely beautiful to any collector, is just a sheer joyous experience. Being welcomed to Stark industries by the recorded voice. My gawd I popped. First off I have gotta say the unboxing experience was superb. Once opening up the box gave a sound from Ironman’s Starks Industries. This experience is akin to waiting in line to go inside his labs lol. If you are a Marvel fan you will appreciate the touches this brush has. After all, Iron-god exists now and this is something cool to show friends. Opening the box gives a sound that can put a smile on your face; just won't spoil too much. Love the detail that's given on the inside of the flap; Showing an outline of Tony Stark. The brush heads all feel nice and gentle with rounded tips. I like using deep cleaning settings along with the corresponding toothpaste it seems to get cleaner by the end of the week. The pulsing feeling really felt like it was scrubbing deeply inside hitting the gums. Whitening settings also seem to have done the job of making my teeth whiter. Sensitive go slow and move slowly so it doesn't irritate sensitive teeth. Evo gives 2 brush heads inside. The handle molds right into the hand feeling great. It also comes with a cool Arc Reactor Charging Base for the toothbrush.

The controls are two button. One is on/off. The other is the mode select. The mode is remembered when you power the brush off. The unit contains a rechargeable battery that charges wirelessly through induction when placed standing up in the arc reactor charging base. This proprietary base also needs to be plugged into an outlet via the USB-C cable and wall adapter and pulses slowly with a glowing white light during charging. A full charge will last several weeks if you brush 2 times daily, though a small red battery indicator near the bottom of the handle will turn on when the unit has low battery and flashes when the battery is critically low. The manufacturer also recommends fully discharging the battery at least once every 6 months to maintain maximum capacity over the long-term.

The EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush runs on a 2-minute program for 4 different places in your mouth. (One-part upper right, One-part lower right, One-part upper left, One-part bottom left) Every 30 seconds, the toothbrush pauses slightly, letting you know when to move to another part of your mouth. And in two minutes your teeth and gums are refreshed and clean. In addition, the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush has a memory, starting off from your last brushing mode.

Removing the IRM toothbrush is simple. There are no twist ties to undo or zip ties to cut. Remove the plastic shield and the toothbrush is ready to come out. What’s better is that there are little layers to the product emersion. From Tony Stark’s signature to a large place card with his name and the ‘I am Iron Man’ quote, I felt like a kid again the deeper I got into the box. The Brush Head’s Bristles will tell turn from blue to white, telling you that you need to replace it. It takes about 90 days for that to happen. A paid subscription is offered to you for sending out new Brush Heads around the 90-day mark. One full charge on the powerbase (ARC Reactor) will give you two weeks of regular toothbrush activity. How do you know when to recharge the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush? A red light will slowly appear just under the mode buttons toward the bottom of the handle. When the charging the toothbrush, the powerbase pulsates so you know it is charging. The powerbase shuts off when charging is complete. A lot of thought went into a lot of small details from box design to using the brush that still leave me smiling after a few days of using this toothbrush. The box also includes a replacement brush head as well as information on a subscription plan I may look into in the future. I grew up reading Iron Man comic books as a youngster, “that was almost 50 years ago” and we are fans of the Iron Man movies. This new EVO Iron IRM-1 toothbrush is something that if you are a diehard Iron Man fan you’ll be extremely pleased with. I first charged the toothbrush before using it. Once the toothbrush was fully charged, I was ready to start my first brushing session. The toothbrush has four modes: Standard, Sensitive, Whitening, Deep Clean. I mostly use the whitening option when it comes to electric toothbrushes, if available. So, I started with the whitening mode. The brush does have a 2-minute timer where every 30 seconds the toothbrush lets you know to start brushing a different quadrant in your mouth. The IRM-1 did an excellent job of helping my teeth feel smooth and clean. It feels like you just left the dentist!The brush’s power button indicator lets you know when it’s time to charge it up again. I mean it’s just fun to own and use outright every morning. I can say that. Evo has done a fantastic job and ultimately nothing bad I can say about it. It does a deep cleaning job and looks awesome. Definitely will lookout for more in this line. This is a sonic toothbrush worth your time especially in a sea of basic-looking brushes out there. To capture the market and the people who are into this, they did a job getting every single detail right. Love the product. The box and presentation is really neat, once you open the double door box the toothbrush rises up and some sound effects begin to play and you’ll hear the computer telling you that systems are go. This is the best presentation I’ve seen of a product “and it’s a toothbrush. And after lifting the plastic protective cover off the brush then remove the tray that’s holding it you’ll see another logoed card “Tony Stark” and after lifting that up you’ll be presented with all the accessories, Arc Reactor looking charging base, charger, USB cable, extra brush head and literature. The IRM toothbrush is sleek. It’s a wonderful glossy finish with the signature red and gold colors of the Iron Man suit. The Power button is represented by the Arc Reactor emblem while there are four lights beneath that light up depending on which cleaning mode you are using. The EVO IRM-1 electric toothbrush is a really cool gadget that comic book aficionados, Marvel fans, and collectors will love. The device comes in a gorgeously designed box, and the process of unboxing it is an experience in and of itself. I won’t go into too much detail to avoid any spoilers for those who may enjoy the fun Easter eggs and surprises hidden inside, but the attention to detail is incredible, and there are some interesting mechanics of the box itself and small electronics built-in that activate when the box is opened which are pretty neat. I’m a proud comic book fanatic. Not only do I collect several comic series from Marvel, DC, and Image, but I also have a large collection of adjacent comic memorabilia. Toys from the movies, statues, games, etc. But never would I have imagined there would be a toothbrush that I would eagerly jump on. And yet, here we are with the EVO - IRM-1 Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush!
